Who We Are
The Tax Council (TTC) is a nonprofit, membership-based organization founded in 1966 and based in Washington, DC. Our members include (but not limited to) Fortune 500 companies, leading accounting and law firms, and major trade associations.
For over six decades, we’ve created a consistent, trusted forum where senior tax professionals can stay close to what’s happening in Washington.
The Tax Council’s events provide excellent opportunities for our members to network and build stronger working relationships with government officials and colleagues across businesses and industries.
What We Do
Provide Regular Forums
such as luncheons and conferences – for members to meet with key tax policy decision makers from the U.S. Congress and administration to discuss important current tax and fiscal issues.
Host an annual Spring Tax Policy Conference
This three-day conference features timely panels, keynote speakers, and in-depth discussions on federal tax and fiscal policy.
Develop and Share Tax Policy
Both information and positions are available for public dissemination, contributing to a better understanding of complex tax laws and regulations.
Offer Exclusive Programming
Programing for senior tax executives, including virtual Chief Tax Officer Roundtable discussions and the Best Practices Conference, which provide candid peer engagement on current and emerging issues.
